Kale Crisps

Serves 4-6 as a snack

Ingredients:

100g kale leaves, tough stalk removed (weight without stalks​​)

0.5 tbsp olive oil

Method:

Preheat your oven to 150ºC.

 

Line 2 baking trays with baking parchment.

 

Wash the kale and dry thoroughly (if from your garden).

 

Place in a large bowl, tearing any large leaves into smaller pieces.

 

Drizzle over the oil, then massage into the kale. Sprinkle over some sea salt, then tip onto the trays and spread out in a single layer. If you fancy some spice, sprinkle over some chilli flakes when you sprinkle over the salt.

 

Bake for 18-22 mins or until crisp but still green, then leave to cool for a few mins.
