There are a few varying ways to eat avocado on toast, first off you can have it as simple as it sounds, toast with avocado spread/mushed over the top - simple. This can also be a healthy snack. Then you can have avocado and salmon on toast or avocado and egg on toast. And of course there are other ways but these are going to set you up for a satisfying healthy breakfast to get you off to a good start in the morning.

Ingredients for Avocado and Salmon on Toast

1 loaf bread, sliced. I like to use my homemade soda bread
1 perfectly ripe avocados
1 fried egg, tip: basting the egg while cooking, will help it cook evenly, resulting in a perfectly fried egg: crispy edges and a wobbly yolk
Smoked salmon
Zest of 1 lemon
Method

Slice 2 pieces of bread and toast to your preference.
Add a layer of sliced or mashed avocado to each slice of bread.
Add the fried egg
Add the smoked salmon and the zest of lemon

Chili flakes (optional)
Method
​
Slice 2 pieces of bread and toast to your preference.
Add a layer of sliced or mashed avocado to each slice of bread.
Add the fried egg
Sprinkle chilli flakes over the top
If you're feeling hungry add both!
