Ros's Ginger Biscuits

Makes 18 small biscuits but I like to make 9 big ones

Ingredients:

2oz butter

2oz granulated sugar

2oz golden syrup

4oz self-raising flour

1 heaped teaspoon ginger

Method:

Preheat your oven to 170ºC.

Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy, add syrup and cream again.

 

Sift flour and ginger and work into butter mixture; roll into balls, flatten slightly (1/4" thick) on baking tray covered in grease proof paper.

Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove and cool on a rack.
